As time passes, more and more people resort to social media or other media platforms for their news, meaning many magazines have attempted to convert to an online source however many believe this was achieved too late as from 2012-2017 the annual returns decreased roughly 2% each year.
The UKs best selling magazine is the TV Choice Magazine with its circulation being 1,266,242

Entertainment weekly's first magazine came out on the 16th of February 1990.
It is based in New York City.
In 1996 is won the National Magazine Award for General Excellence. It won again in 2002.
In September 2016 EW launched People/Entertainment Weekly Network.
